Ottawa DND Locations

Welcome to Ottawa

Below is a map of the DND work locations in Ottawa and the surrounding area. Click on one of the points to learn more about the location where you will be working.

3500-Carling-Campus-400x300New DND Headquarters

3500 Carling Avenue, Ottawa

The DND headquarters is located in Ottawa’s west end. It is an impressive campus that is about consolidating buildings and getting people working in a more collaborative way. The federal government spent $800 million on acquiring and retrofitting the former Nortel complex for DND’s needs. The 42 current DND and Canadian Forces office locations in Ottawa and Gatineau would over the years be reduced to seven or fewer. The site has parking for about half its full capacity and is served by multiple bus routes. It has really changed where my military clients are shopping for homes. Many are very much west end centric with neighbourhoods of Kanata, Stittsville, and Barrhaven becoming increasingly popular.
