DND MOVE TO NORTEL CAMPUS DELAYED

The move was planned for the fall and the buildings are close to ready for occupancy but Vice Admiral Mark Norman, vice chief of the defence staff says the move won’t be until January 9.

The move is causing changes to the work and personal schedules of employees. The DND and Canadian Forces want to minimize such disruptions and made the decision for the delay.

Delaying the move until next year allows amenities to be ready in time for the employees and avoids causing stress over the holidays. It also allows them time to sort out their transportation arrangements.
